Obituary for Rosetta Coleman

Rosetta Marie Coleman, a native and lifelong resident of Mobile, AL departed this life on Wednesday, December 30, 2015. She was a member of Faith Lutheran Church and a retiree of Mobile Infirmary Hospital.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Ernestine Nettle and James Wilson, Sr., her brother, James Wilson, Jr., and sister, Barbara Hayes.

She leaves to cherish her memories, her husband, Karlos Coleman; three daughters, Nikita Walton(Christopher), Carla and Mary Coleman(Steven); three sons, Darrell (Dorothy) Walton, Ronald Walton and Marvin Coleman(Shannon); one sister, Elsie (William) Taylor; two brothers, Michael (Mae) Wilson and Barry Wilson; eight grandchildren, Tonita (Preston) Lewis, Lakendrick and Ronald Jones, Desmond, Cedric, Darrell, Nekeisha Walton and Eric Coleman; ten great grandchildren; a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Her remains will lie in state on Friday, January 8, 2016 from 1pm until 8pm at Small’s Mortuary, Mobile, AL. Visitation will be held on Saturday, January 9, 2016 from 9am until the 11am funeral hour at Faith Lutheran Church, 1730 Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Ave. Mobile, AL. Interment will follow in Gethsemane Cemetery, Mobile, AL.
