Obituary for Sarah Hobbs McCall

Sarah Hobbs McCall- a native of Haleyville Alabama and a resident of Theodore, Alabama was one of the youngest born on March 5, 1956 to the union of Sam and Nina Harris Hobbs and departed this life Tuesday, March 31, 2015. She was employed as a Registered Nurse at Springhill Memorial Hospital. She was preceded in death by her parents, three sisters, her twin Martha Hobbs, Edna White and Lucille Murphy and five brothers, Owen Hobbs, Jimmy Smith, Sam Hobbs, Jr., Willie Hobbs and Bobby Hobbs. She leaves to cherish her memories her husband; Wilbert McCall, Sr., two sons; Derrick (Sharnee) Hobbs and Kevin Hobbs, four step children; Callie Johnson, Wilbert McCall, Jr., Alecia McCall and McKenzie McCall, eight grandchildren; Jordan Hobbs, Jasmine Hobbs, Te’Ayjah Smith, Keyona McCall, Kelton McCall, Kaleb McCall, Caliyah Johnson and Mason Rodgers, three sisters; Gloria (Hurbert) Brown, Bridget (Daniel) Flores and Marie Nelson, 2 brothers; William Hobbs and Albert Hobbs, nine in-laws; Jerry McCall, Barry (Cheryl) McCall, John (Mildred) Bibbs, Jr., Ronnie Bibbs, Teresa Nobles, Annie (Wilbert) Stroher, Alfreda Williams, Clarence Jones and Ruth (Kent) Hobbs, two devoted nephews; Charles Hobbs and Bryan Hobbs, two special nieces; Donna White and Shahalia Jones, three godchildren; Johnetta Beckham, Dorian Coker and Breanca Thompson and a host of other relative and friends one devoted friend; Loretta (John) Beckham. Her remains will lie in state at Small’s Mortuary, Theodore, Friday, April 3, 2015 from 12 noon-5PM and Saturday, April 4, 2015 Ebenezer Baptist Church, 5051 Ebenezer Dr., Mobile, AL 36693 after 9 - 11AM funeral hour.
