Obituary for Sarah Smith

Sister Sarah Mae Smith, a native of Tensaw, Alabama, and a longtime resident of Mobile, Alabama departed this life for eternity on Thursday, March 18, 2010. She was preceded in death by her mother, Easter Jones, father, Samuel Smith, and stepfather, Isiash Jones. She was an active member in the church from childhood until her death. She was a faithful member of St. Mary Missionary Methodist Church where she served diligently as President of the Usher Board and Financial Secretary. She leaves the cherish her precious memories, two loving and devoted daughters, devoted caregiver LaTasha Smith of Mobile, AL, Glenda (Wade) Brazile of Brewton, AL, three grandchildren, Jessica Jones of Tensaw, AL, Samantha Jones and Brandon Brazile of Brewton, AL, nine sisters; eight brothers and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Her remains will lie in state at Small's Mortuary Thursday, March 25, 2010 from 9:00 a.m. until the 11:00 a.m. funeral hour at St. Mary Missionary Methodist Church, 2817 Cotton Street, Mobile, AL. Interment follows in the Tensaw Cemetery, Tensaw, AL.
