Obituary for Sherlie Bohannon

Sherlie Diane Bohannon - a loving mother and sister, died Sunday, Jan. 17, 2010 at Crowne Nursing Care. Sherlie was born on July 1, 1953 in Prichard, Alabama to the union of Aaron and Mary Bohannon. She was preceded in death by her parents, 3 brothers, Howard Moore, Jimmie Bohannon and James Bohannon. Attended grade school at Ella Grant Elementary, and graduated with the class of 1971 from Blount High School. Sis. Bohannon worked at Providence Hospital for 15 years as a dietary aid. Sis. Bohannon left to cherish her memories, 2 sons, Aaron and Carlos Bohannon; 2 brothers, Roger (Georgia) Bohannon of Millbrook, AL, Jackie Bohannon of Long Island, New York; 2 sisters, Angela Bohannon of Mobile, AL, Lillie Wright of Moss Point, MS; 4 grandsons, Deondra and Deonta Curry, Carlos D. and Aaron Bohannon and 1 granddaughter, Arreal Love. All of Mobile, AL, 1 aunt, Odie Tate, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Three childhood devoted friends, Brenda Moultrie Denton, Donis McConnell Young and Mabel McNeil Murphy. Her remains will lie in state at Small's Mortuary on Friday, January 22, 2010 from 1PM until 8PM and on Saturday, January 23, 2010 after 10AM until the 12 Noon funeral hour. Interment will follow in the Whispering Pines Cemetery, Eight Mile, AL. DIGNIFIED AND PROFESSIONAL SERVICES ENTRUSTED TO SMALL'S MORTUARY, 950 SOUTH BROAD STREET, MOBILE, AL.
