Sis. Shirley Ann Pears- A native and long life resident of Mobile, AL, departed this life on Tuesday, December 1, 2009. She was proceeded in death by her mother, Mother Katherine Mitchell, fathers, Sherman Crawford and Clyde Mitchell. She leaves to cherish her memories a loving and devoted husband, Marion Pears; two loving sons, Bishop Carlos (Minister Natasha) Mitchell of Lufkin, TX., and Cory Pears of Mobile, AL. One loving daughter, Bridgette (Bryant) Wilson. Seven grandchildren, Marcelus, Cory Jr., Trislyn, Kaleb Pears, Kelsey, and Brittany Wilson of Mobile, AL., and Natalya Mitchell of Lufkin, TX. Four loving brothers, Bishop W. F. (Minister James Etta) Hughes of Grand Prairie, TX., Bishop C.E. (Minister Patricia) Hughes, and Levy Nelson of Mobile, AL, and Sherman (Evangelist Linda) Crawford of Lufkin, TX. One loving sister, Schnavia Jowers of Mobile, AL. Eight brother-in-laws, Charlie Pears, George (Dennese) Pears, John Pears, James (Barbara) Bradley, Michael (Valerie) Bradley, Sherman Bradley, Samuel (Angela) Bradley, and Thoman (Angelia) Bradley. Three loving sister-in-laws, Margaret Seltzer, Hallen (Donald) Johnson, and Alfreda (Henry) Pears-Lee all of Mobile, AL. A host of cousins, nieces, nephews, and one devoted Elder Joshua (Shiloh) Hughes and other relatives and friends. Her remains will lie in state at Small's Mortuary, Mobile, AL. on Friday, December 4, 2009 from 1:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. and Saturday, December 5, 2009 after 9:00 a.m. until the 11:00 a.m. funeral hour at the Faith City Cathedral Pentecostal Deliverance Church, 521 Mobile Street. Interment will follow in the Gethsemane Cemetery, 800 Mobile Street, Mobile, AL., with Bishop C.M. Mitchell as the officiating minister. Bishop C.E. Hughes as pastor. Dignified and professional services entrusted to Small's Mortuary, 950 S. Broad Street, Mobile, AL.
