Obituary for 1st Anthony Lawrence Wilcox

1st Sgt. Anthony Lawrence Wilcox Sr.-- a native of Mobile and a resident of Bourbonnais, IL., born January 26, 1966 to the union of Mr. and Mrs. Arthur W. Wilcox Sr., departed this life Monday, February 16, 2009. A 1984 graudate of Williamson High School. An active 1st Sgt. of the United States Army. He was preceded in death by his wife, Anita Wilcox, paternal grandmother, Rosie Wilcox, and maternal grandfather, James Lutin. He leaves to cherish his memories three loving children, Cherell, Anthony Jr. and Nicole Wilcox, parents, Arthur (Henrie Mae) Wilcox, Sr., two brothers, Arthur (Penny) Wilcox, Jr., Federal Way, WA., and Charles Wilcox, Mobile, three sisters, Veronica (Robert) Jones Sr., Pasadena, CA., Angela (Carl) Jackson and Tencie Wilcox, both of Mobile, mother-in-law, Florence Nichols, brothers and sisters-in-law, aunts, uncles, six nephews, five nieces, cousins, other relatives and friends His remains will lie in state at Small's Mortuary Friday, February 27, 2009 from 7-8pm and Saturday, February 28, 2009 after 9am until the 11am funeral hour Sunlight District Auditorium. Interment will follow in the Lawn Haven Cemetery. Dignified and professional services entrusted to Small's Mortuary, 950 S. Broad St., Mobile, AL.
