Stephanie Patricia Longmire McKinnis entered the earth realm in Selma, Alabama on June 9, 1971. She departed for the heavenly realm on Thursday, January 3, 2019. She spent her childhood years in Mobile and Chatom, Alabama. She was blessed with loving parents Cleaster and Harriet Longmire. She attended Williamson High School in Mobile before graduating from Washington County High School in Chatom, Alabama. She was baptized at the Government Street Church of Christ (Mobile, Alabama). She later moved to Pascagoula, Mississippi where she worked and raised four wonderful children. She was employed at Advance America and Equity Lifestyle Properties. Stephanie was a strong and awesome breast cancer survivor for over twenty years. The love of her life were her grandchildren.

Preceding her in death were: her father, Cleaster Longmire Sr.; grandparents: Hattie Douglas, Ulysses and Aroneta Stallworth, Vivian and Julian Olton; granddaughter, Khyla McKinnis; and aunt, Mildred Pugh.

Missing her dearly and cherishing her memories include: her children, LeKendric Longmire of Portland, Oregon, Raquel McKinnis of Pascagoula, Mississippi, Karmen Coleman, and Deontre McKinnis both of Mobile, Alabama; her grandchildren: Jaidyn Taylor, Braylon Minor, Aaydon Minor, Kaaydon Coleman, Daylon Coleman, Royal Coleman, and Aayce Coleman; her mother: Harriet (Rev. Matthew) Crandle of Pascagoula, Mississippi; her siblings, Pastor O’Neal Stallworth Porter of Pensacola, Florida, Lauren Longmire King of Pascagoula, Mississippi, Cleaster Longmire Jr. of Aliquippa, Pennsylvania; godmother, Louise McGrew.

Also cherishing her memories include: her uncle, Kenneth Stallworth Sr.; loving nieces and nephews: Kymberly Porter, Brooke Porter, Morgan (Timothy) Martin, Charles Porter, Keyunna King, and Breland King; former in-laws, Sabrina Hurd Porter and Minister Jeffery King; a devoted longtime friend, Victor Thompson; special family: Veronica Rice, Brian L. Rice, Zin E. Rice, and Derrick Rice; beloved extended family members: Rice, Kidd, Longmire, and Stallworth families and a host of other relatives and friends.

Visitation will be held at the Small’s Mortuary on 950 South Broad Street, Mobile, Alabama 36603 on Friday, January 11, 2019 from 1 p.m. until 8 p.m. Viewing will continue Saturday, January 12, 2019 at 9 a.m. until the 11 a.m. funeral hour at the Mt. Calvary Baptist Church, 505 N. Price Ave., Prichard, Alabama where Rev. Norvel Glover is the pastor and officiating minister. Her brother, Pastor O’Neal Stallworth Porter is the eulogist. Final arrangements have been entrusted to Small’s Mortuary
