Obituary for Thomas Cunningham

Thomas Jefferson Cunningham -- a native and resident of Mobile, born June 21, 1953 to the late Rayford and Irma Lee Cunningham Sr. departed this Wednesday, July 29, 2009 at a local hospital. He was a member of Yorktown Missionary Baptist Church. He was the Salutatorian of the 1971 Class of Mobile County Training School. He was a veteran of the United States Air Force. He was preceded in death by his brothers, Gregory Lloyd Cunningham and sister, Sylvia Belle Towner. He leaves to cherish his memories and mourn his passing his mother, Irma Lee Cunningham, two brothers, Rayford Jr. and Winston Cunningham, all of Mobile, uncle, Willie D. (Bessie) Cunningham, Philadelphia, PA., niece, April Belle, Birmingham, nephews, other relatives and friends one devoted friend, Dian Small, His remains will lie in state at Small's Mortuary Friday, August 7, 2009 from 1-8pm and Saturday, August 8, 2009 after 11am until the 1pm funeral hour. Interment will follow in the Plateau, Cemetery. Dignified and professional services entrusted to Smalls Mortuary 950 S. Broad St. Mobile, AL.
