Obituary for Thomas Washington

Thomas Washington-Age 81, a native of Birmingham and a resident of Lownes and Mobile County, AL died at a local hospital on Monday, October 15, 2007. He was a dedicated servant of Jehovah for over 59 years. He was preceded in death by his parents, Thomas Washington, Sr. and Lelia Bell Washington; two brothers, Eugene (Linda) Washington, Albert (Romona) Washington; one sister, Vera (Wayman) Grant and one son, Carl Eric (Debra) Washington. He is survived by a devoted wife of 63 years, Kathleen Washington; six children, Michael (Dora) Washington, Whistler, AL, Winnefer (Willie) Morgan and Thomas Washington, III both of Chicago, IL; Ronald (Janice) Washington and James (Marie) Washington both of Selma, AL; and Norman Washington of Mobile. He also leaves to cherish his memories a devoted sister, Annie (King S.) Craig, Eight Mile; George (Candi) Washington of Dallas, Texas; twenty-six grandchildren and a host of great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews and friends. Memorial Services will be held on Saturday, October 20 at 11:00am at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses, 4232 St. Stephens Rd. Eight Mile, AL.
