Mother Velma Lee Hollinger was born August 21st 1929 in Lower Peachtree, Alabama and departed this life on June 8th 2018.
She was a long time resident of Mobile, Alabama and took great pride in being the mother of St. Mary Missionary Methodist Church. She was an accomplished singer and musician who loved quartet music; always in the mood to hear the Gospel Key Notes or the Pilgrim Jubilees.

She was preceded in death by her parents Cozier and Callie Campbell, her husband YZ Hollinger, her son Willie Houston, two brothers Harvey Campbell and Leo Campbell, and two sisters Virginia Campbell and Ethel Campbell.
Mother Hollinger leaves to cherish her memory one sister Betty Lowe of Macon Ga; nine loving children one devoted Vesta Fairley, Charles (Hattie) Houston, Ira Houston, Valerie Walters, Ethel Robinson, Henry (Regina) Houston, Pearlie (David) Agee, Earlie (Lorraine) Houston, and Evelyn (Calvin) Houston-Smith; thirty grandchildren one devoted Vesta Houston; sixty-four great-grandchildren; fourteen great- great-grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
