Obituary for Virginia Gee Turner

Virginia L. "Gee" Turner-- 77 a native of Mt. Vernon, AL., and a resident of Eight Mile, AL., born September 30, 1931 departed this life Friday, February 6, 2009 at a local hospital. A retirer of Searcy Hospital. She professed a hope in Christ at an early age. She worked faithfully with the Senior Mission Department of Greater Mt. Olive Primitive Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her parents, Mr. & Mrs. George and Nettie Turner two sisters, Gladys Patterson and Marie Turner, brother, Louis George Turner. She leaves to cherish her memories son, Marvin (Margaret) Turner, two daughters, Beverly Spencer and Monica (Roy) Pritchett, all of Eight Mile, six grandchildren, one great-grandchild, three sisters, Clara McCree, Mt. Vernon, Deloris (Haywood) Donald and Lucille Goines, both of Lorain, OH. Her remains will lie in state at Small's Mortuary Friday, February 13, 2009 from 1-8pm and Saturday, February 14, 2009 after 9am until the 11am funeral hour Greater Mt. Olive Primitive Baptist Church, Interment will follow in the Morning Star Cemetery, Mt. Vernon. Dignified and professional services entrusted to Small's Mortuary, 950 S. Broad St., Mobile, AL.
