Obituary for Walter Hendricks

Mr. Walter Lee Hendricks was born on October 17, 1947 in Mobile, Al to the late Ms. Agnes Hendricks and Mr. John Hinkle. He passed into glory of eternal life on September 29, 2009 at his local residence. He confessed Christ at an early age and united with St. Peters Claver Catholic Church in Mobile, Al. He later reunited with Bethel African Methodist Episcopal Church and served as a member for several years. He leaves to cherish his memories a loving and devoted wife Shirley Ann Jackson Hendricks of Mobile, Al. One devoted daughter Tiffany Monique (Demarco) Holt of Mobile, Al; One stepson LaKeith (Michelle) Taylor of Jacksonville, Fl. Four grandchildren Jonqueal Mobile, Al, Delvon, Jasmine, and Kiannah all of Jacksonville, Fl; One brother John "Hank" Hendricks of Mobile, Al; Two brother-in-laws Zinnonnon (Yvonne) Jackson and Jerome (Tolthea) Jackson both of Mobile.and a host of cousins, relatives, and friends. One devoted friend Roderick (Vanessa) Coleman. His remains will lie in state at Small's Mortuary on Sunday, October 4, 2009 from 1:00 p.m. until 5:00 p.m. and after 9:00 a.m. on Monday, October 5, 2009 at the Bethel African Methodist Episcopal Church until the 11:00 a.m. funeral hour. interment will follow in the Pine Crest Cemetery.
