Obituary for Walter White

Walter Cass White, a resident of Mobile, AL was born in Dixon Mills, Al on May 13, 1934 and entered eternal life on Saturday, November 14th , 2009. He was a faithful member of St. Luke Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by his wife, Aline Willis White, parents, John and Betty White, brother, Charles White and grandson, Kenneth R. Lang II. Walter worked for Jack's Cookie Company. He also spent a number of years employed at the Mobile Gas Company, as well as the historic Waterman Building. He later retired from 25 years of dedicated service to Ingall's Shipbuilding in Pascagoula, MS. He leaves to cherish his memories, three loving children, Walter White, Rosalyn White (Kenneth) Lang of Mobile, AL, Andre' White of Atlanta, GA, four beautiful granddaughters, Jamie Aline Lang of Birmingham, AL, Brittni Brewer of Huntsville, AL, Luciana Watkins of Mobile, AL, and Alayna White of Atlanta, GA, five sisters, Betty (Henry) Moore of Thomasville, AL, Dorothy White of Mobile, AL, Melba (Henry) Spencer, Shirley White, Gloria White of Los Angeles, CA, three brothers, Eugene (Rosemary) Williams, Bobby (Geneva) White of Mobile, AL, Johnny (Doris) White Sr., of Huntsville, AL, two sisters-in-law, Arnita Evans and Vivian Willis of Mobile, AL, one aunt, Voncille Thomas, a special great niece and nephew, Deja' and Dainon Creagh, and a devoted friend, Mary Morris. A host of nieces, nephews, cousins and other family friends. His remains will lie in state at Small's Mortuary on Friday, November 20th, 2009 from 2:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. and after 9:00 a.m. on Saturday, November 21st, 2009 until the 11:00 a.m. funeral hour at the St. Luke Baptist Church, 751 Texas Street, Mobile, AL. Interment will follow in Gethsemane North Cemetery. Dignified and professional services entrusted to Small's Mortuary, 950 S. Broad Street, Mobile, AL.
