Obituary for Willie Ann McNeil

Willie Ann McNeil, born on January 14, 1957 in Mobile AL and a resident of Prichard AL, departed this life for her eternal home on Sunday, October 9, 2016. She was a graduate of Mattie T. Blount High School Class of 1975 and attended the Truelight Missionary Baptist Church.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Revel Mae Bennett Hunter and Robert Williams, Martha and Anderson Stevens; her son, Rodrick McNeil, brothers, Lovell and Jesse Bennett and Willie (Spoat) Johnson; and sister, Margaret Lusain.

She leaves to cherish her memories two loving sons, Derrick (Joenita), and DeMarco (Lanicia) McNeil of Prichard AL; sisters, Celia (Dan Lee) Lutin, Dorothy Diggs, Deborah Bennett, and Gloria (Michael) Jones all of Mobile AL; brothers, Ernest (Carolyn) of Selma AL, James (Eve) and Milton (Rita) Bennett of Birmingham AL, Richard Williams of Birmingham AL, and James (Peggy) Hunter of Mobile AL. one uncle, George (Diane) Drain of Birmingham AL; three loving grandchildren, Madison, Allison, and Derrick II McNeil; and a host of nieces, nephews, family and friends; special thanks to a family friend, Willie Green.

A visitation will be held on Saturday, October 15, 2016 from 9:00 a.m. until the 11:00 a.m. funeral hour at Truelight Missionary Baptist Church, 2001 West Main Street, Prichard, AL. Interment will follow in the Gethsemane North Cemetery, Eight Mile, AL.
