Obituary for WILLIE PETTAWAY
Willie James Pettaway exchanged his life for eternal wings on December 3, 2015. He was born July 11, 1955 to late Mr. and Mrs. Alphonse (Louverna) Pettaway. He was a native and lifelong resident of Mobile, AL.
He was also preceded in death by his sister, Tina Pettaway.
He leaves to cherish his memories, four siblings, Roberta (Shelia) Smith of Montgomery, AL, Alfred (Brencella) Pettaway, Patricia Pettaway-Irby and Julius (Amanda) Pettaway all of Mobile, AL; a host of other relatives and friends.
His remains will lie in state on Friday, December 11, 2015 from 1pm until 8pm at Small’s Mortuary, Mobile, AL. Visitation will be held on Saturday, December 12, 2015 from 9am until the 10am funeral hour at New Covenant Church, 929 Bessemer Ave. Prichard, AL. Interment will follow in Whispering Pines Cemetery, Eight Mile, AL.
