Obituary for Willie Joe Robinson

Deacon Willie Joe Robinson, a native of Montgomery, AL and a resident of Mobile, AL was born August 29, 1931 and departed this life on Monday, February 1, 2016. He was a Korean Era Veteran in the U.S. Army.

He leaves to cherish his memories a loving and devoted wife of 60 years, Dorothy Robinson; one son, Michael Robinson; two daughters, Debra (Winston) Gaillard and Valerie (Robert) Agee all of Mobile, AL; three grandchildren; a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

His remains will lie in state on Friday, February 5, 2016 from 1pm until 8pm at Small’s Mortuary, Mobile, AL. Visitation will be held on Saturday, February 6, 2016 from 12:30pm until the 1pm funeral hour at Mt. Olive Missionary Baptist Church #1, 409 Lexington Ave. Mobile, AL, Rev. E.G. Scott officiating. Interment will follow in Gethsemane Cemetery, Mobile, AL.
