Lavon Smith--a native and resident of Grand Bay Alabama, departed this life on Monday, January 9, 2017. He was born September 19, 1953, to the proud parents of Leon and Georgetta Smith who proceeded him in death.

Lavon Smith leaves the following relatives to cherish his memory:

Honora Green, Rev. Javon (Tachonda) Smith, Sherida Stevens, Jeremy (Keia) Moye, Edwin (Precious) Moye, Nathan (Danielle) Orr, Davante Moore, Keith (Betty) Smith, Bryon (Sabrina) Smith, Carlos (Gloria) Smith, Ora Dee Ward, Walter (Selena) Stallworth, Edward (Margaret) Smith, Frances Callier, Tommy Jr. (Martha) Stallworth and Maxine Stallworth. 18 grandchildren and 1 future great grandson and a host of nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends.

A visitation will be held Friday, January 13, 2017, from 1:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. at Small’s Mortuary, Inc & Cremation Services, 7000 Bellingrath Road, Theodore, Alabama, 36582 and Saturday, January 14, 2017 after 9am until the 11am funeral hour at Little Rock A.M.E.
