Obituary for Celestine Brown

Celestine "Nanny" Brown - 89 a native of Whistler, AL and a resident of Grand Bay, AL, born March 18, 1917, departed this life Tuesday, December 12, 2006 at a local hospital. She leaves to cherish her memories three loving daughters one devoted, Joann Campbell, Grand Bay, AL. Rosetta Woods, Daphne, AL. ALinda (Zeffie) Coleman, Irvington, AL; two sons, Euseibuis Pope, Los Angeles, CA., Joseph (Johnnie) Whitt, Centerville, MS, sister, Louise Jones, Atlanta, GA; three brothers, James, Anthony and Elijah Douglas, all of Mobile, twelve grands, three devoted Johnnie, Monica and LaTonya, twenty-eight great-grands and seventeen great-great-grands, two god children, a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Her remains will lie in state at Small's Mortuary Friday, December 15, 2006 from 1-8pm and Saturday, December 16, 2006 after 9am until the 11am funeral hour at Warmwood Baptist Church. Interment in Lawn Haven Cemetery. Dignified and professional services are entrusted to SMALL'S MORTUARY, 950 S. Broad St, Mobile, AL 36603
